Prunes have a high sugar content, allowing them to be dried without fermentation. They are also high in fiber, which can help you regulate intestinal function and bladder, as well as keep appetite under control.

Promotes digestion naturally

Prunes are high in fiber, which helps prevent hemorrhoids caused by constipation. Chronic constipation is a common problem in older people and can also be a painful problem for infants. Prune juice acts laxative thanks to the high content of sorbitol. 

And why do we sometimes suffer from constipation? Constipation is a condition that affects the gastrointestinal system and leads to difficulty moving the intestines. Peristalsis is different in every person, but if you have not bowel movements for two or three days, you may have constipation.  [ref. 2]  This may be due to a lack of fiber and water, which help to form waste materials and remove them from the body.

Although prune juice does not contain the same amount of useful fiber as the whole fruit, it still provides fiber and many of the vitamins and minerals that the whole fruit has.

An overactive bladder can cause serious discomfort, but adding fiber to your diet can normalize things. Prunes can be especially useful in combating bone density loss from radiation irradiation. A 2016 animal study found that prunes and prune powder can reduce the effect of radiation on the bone marrow, preventing bone density loss. 

How to take prune juice to cope with constipation

Prune juice is an effective remedy for constipation in both children and adults. For a baby or toddler, 50-100 ml is recommended. juice and you can adjust the amount if necessary. For adults can more - from 100 to 200-230 ml. juice every morning to stimulate peristalsis.

    Prunes can help you manage your weight, blood pressure, digestion and prevent constipation. Just remember that more juice is not advisable to take. 

    Providing more fiber doesn't always help stimulate bowel movement. Extra fiber can make you feel worse if you are dehydrated, so you need to drink plenty of water daily. It is important to stick to the indicated amount of juice according to age or six prunes whole fruit daily.
